Imagine… you are five years old and you move to another country with your mother and father. The children at the school in your new country speak a language that you do not understand. You want to play outside together with your friends. But yes, that language makes it difficult.
Are you the volunteer who can teach this girl Dutch, so that she can feel at home in Wageningen?
This energetic and cheerful girl from Iran misses her home country and has difficulty connecting with the children in her class. She loves playing outside, cycling, playing with blocks and puzzles and doing crafts.
We are looking for a volunteer who wants to practice Dutch with this girl on Tuesday or Thursday afternoon. If you would like to know more, please feel free to contact the coordinator of Kind aan Huis, Marri Geuskens.
