Time investment: 1.5 hours per time

About the activity

At the De Nude Community Center, we'll be hosting a fun cooking club for children aged 6 to 12 every Tuesday and Friday afternoon. During this activity, children will learn to work together, try new flavors, and develop skills that boost their independence. It's accessible, creative, and above all, fun!

Purpose of the cooking club

The cooking club is more than just cooking together. It will be a place where children:

· Discover their talents and build self-confidence.

· Develop social skills, such as working together, communicating and taking each other into account.

· Get to know a healthy lifestyle in a positive way.

· Experience a safe, stimulating and familiar place where they can experiment, be creative and celebrate successes.

What will you do as a volunteer?

· You guide the children step by step while cooking.

· You ensure a positive, safe and pleasant atmosphere.

· You encourage children, help where necessary and give everyone the space to participate.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a volunteer who:

· Enjoys working with children.

· Is patient, friendly and enthusiastic.

· Basic knowledge of cooking (professional is definitely not necessary!).

· Can work well with colleagues and provide positive guidance to children.

· Available on Tuesday and/or Friday afternoon from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
