Homework guidance for a 13-year-old girl

The Huis van de Wijk de Nude is the meeting place for the residents of the South area in the Municipality of Wageningen. Het Huis offers a warm and pleasant atmosphere where there is always time for a conversation, where you can always have a quiet cup of coffee with a newspaper. Or you can move around or come up with beautiful creations. This also applies to young and old, and to individuals as well as groups. Everyone is welcome!

It is not only a House for meeting and bonding, but also a work placement company where people can participate, or gain experience as part of their training. Different target groups can come to this House. They can participate in our cooking studio where you can cook but also enjoy the delicious dishes. Offering people a place to participate in society or where they can develop a daily rhythm is also part of what Huis van de Wijk de Nude offers.

The team supports and coaches residents as well as employees and trainees.

Thanks to the relaxation of the corona measures, we are slowly starting our activities again. This also increases visitor numbers.

Do you enjoy helping children who want to work on their school career? Then we are looking for you.

Your tasks:

· Provide homework guidance to children in primary education, mainly with a migration background.

· Children receive homework from school. If necessary, you will receive support from the teacher

What do we ask?

· Affinity with children.

· Affinity with people with a migration background.

· Be available on Wednesday afternoons from 1 p.m. The activity lasts one hour.

· Good command of the Dutch language.

· If you have experience in tutoring homework, that is an advantage.

· A VOG (Declaration of Good Conduct) is required. It is reimbursed by the Huis van de Wijk de Nude.
