The guest reception staff provide visitors to Landgoed Schaesberg with information, take care of the ticket sales for the event area and occupy the POS function of the shop. The employees also set up guest reception, reception and presentation facilities or start promotion and presentation films in the auditorium.
Together with the other operating staff and the staff of the kitchen and bar, the staff guest reception ensures that the customer is served smoothly and as desired.
Because the workload at the desk in the visitor center can be very high and low, the guest reception employee is expected to be resistant to stress and flexibility. Working hours are variable and are fixed in schedules in consultation.
What does your work look like?
You work together with a colleague and / or with service staff and the staff of the kitchen and catering industry in roasted services. The main responsibility of a guest reception employee is to provide a well-informed and satisfied customer.
In addition, he / she helps the customer to find his way in the visitor center and on the event grounds and can enthusiastically tell what Landgoed Slot Schaesberg has to offer.
Customer service and customer satisfaction is your passion. You are flexible and have experience in the field of reception, shop and / or catering and / or any demonstrable experience in a similar position. You want to delve deeper into the project, the history of castle Schaesberg and its surroundings and in its visitors and would like to give Landgoed Schaesberg a name with fame.
We are looking for an enthusiastic pragmatic independent go-getter who also likes to operate in a team. You are helpful and have good communication skills. Furthermore, you are proactive, proactive and are able to function independently for parts of the day.
You are:

About Slot Schaesberg
Slot Schaesberg is een ambitieus project met als primaire doelstelling kasteel Schaesberg in Landgraaf en de bijbehorende hoeve op ambachtelijk en wetenschappelijk verantwoorde wijze te herbouwen en de geschiedenis van deze gebouwen, haar bewoners en het omringende landgoed weer tot leven te brengen.
De uitvoering is in handen van Stichting Landgoed Slot Schaesberg die de projectdoelstelling omzet in deelprojecten en operationeel leiding geeft aan de herbouw- en exploitatieprojecten die worden bemenst met vrijwilligers, stagiairs en re-integranten.
Slot Schaesberg is in de eerste helft van 2015 opengesteld voor publiek. De kasteelrestanten zijn voor het eerst toegankelijke gemaakt, er is een bezoekerscentrum gebouwd. Momenteel worden voorbereidingen getroffen om de 17e -eeuwse toegangspoort van Slot Schaesberg te herbouwen. Op termijn zullen op het landgoed o.a. ook een historische (kinder)boerderij en verschillende ambachtshuizen gebouwd worden, die zullen dienen als publiekstoegankelijke werk-en opleidingsplaatsen.
Bij Slot Schaesberg zijn dus veel projecten in uitvoering waarvoor we op zoek zijn naar ervaren houtbewerkers, of mensen die ervaring willen opdoen met (historische) houtbewerking. Zo gaan we diverse ambachtelijke vakwerkhuizen bouwen, voetgangersbruggen, een houten praam en vele andere grotere en kleinere projecten.
Ook zijn wij op zoek naar vrijwilligers die mee willen helpen in de tuin, een maquettebouwer, medewerkster/medewerker gastenontvangst, medewerker technische dienst, gids voor het geven van rondleidingen en medewerkers voor het opzetten en begeleiden van activiteiten/evenementen.
