Detailed description
A few clients of day care At Jooz in Hilversum work at pancake house Wildenburg in Baarn (close to Groeneveld castle).
They can now extend the daytime activities there to Thursday, but for that they need transport and someone who helps them a bit with the work there, a familiar, regular face.
We are looking for an open and friendly volunteer who will drive them on Thursday from 11 am to 1:30 pm, accompany them and bring them back home.
The clients have good communication skills and know how to make themselves understood.
Working hours: Thursdays from 11am to 1.30pm
Special Conditions: Affinity with people with intellectual disabilities, in possession of a driving license and own car
Training method and guidance: Volunteers are indispensable. We realize that very well. That is why Sherpa in turn wants to take good care of the volunteer. An introduction will take place where you will see if this volunteer vacancy suits you. If you decide to assist us with this, you will work with an enthusiastic team of supervisors.

Activities
Sherpa is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers. How often you meet depends on you. Some like to go to the local market together every week, others agree on a monthly basis. The employees of the Social Deployment Office listen to your wishes, hobbies and interests and put them next to the questions of the clients. That way we always look for the perfect match!
