About Scoutinggroep Jan van Riebeeck

We are a fun scouting group from Eefde, for children and young people from 5 to 21 years old, we organize a fun program every weekend in and around our beautiful clubhouse the 'Keerdiekoe'. Our clubhouse is located in our own forest, located on the Boedelhofweg.

Our group was founded in 1946 and has a rich history. Once started in a small summer house, but today it is housed in a modern group house with solar panels and underfloor heating.

There are five game branches in our group: beavers, cubs, scouts, explorers and robber scouts. Depending on your age you will end up at one of these game branches and as soon as you are old enough you will 'fly over' to the next game branch. In this way we try to challenge our members to keep developing themselves.
In addition to the regular outings, the game branches also organize various regional activities, outings and camps every year. With activities such as primitive cooking, pioneering, route techniques and natural fire making, our members will never get bored on Saturday! Curious about the activities per game branch?
