Treasurer wanted

Do you have financial insight and do you want to make a difference for the LHBTIQ+ community? Then we are looking for you! Shout is looking for an enthusiastic treasurer to help us keep our financial affairs in order and thus contribute to our mission.

Who are we?

Shout is the LHBTIQ+ association in Wageningen, where everyone feels welcome. We organize activities, meetings and information sessions to create a safe and visible place for LHBTIQ+ people in our community. As treasurer you play a key role in our board and contribute directly to the continued existence of our association.

What are you going to do?

As treasurer you ensure that the financial side of the association is well managed. Your commitment is important to be able to continue organizing our activities! Your tasks consist of:

– Managing finances, such as keeping track of income and expenses.

– Drawing up a simple budget for the new year.

– Maintaining clear and organized administration.

– Advising the board on financial decisions.

What do we expect from you?

– You are accurate and reliable.

– Good command of Dutch and English.

– You feel involved in the LHBTIQ+ community, but everyone is welcome, we also cordially invite allies to apply for this position

– You can spare a few hours per month and are willing to attend board meetings that take place approximately once every 3 weeks.
