Open Meals with Refugees

Bringing people together is the greatest joy we as a project enjoy, especially through food, games, arts, music and dance. That is why we have been busy bringing this concept to Utrecht for the last few months, but we are back in Amsterdam this month!

You might have attended, heard of or always wanted to attend this event, and because of this we keep on organizing it to give everyone the chance to attend and experience this exchange of self cooked meals with over 45 nationalities . We want to continue bringing to you this initiative to socialize, integrate and communicate with other people of minority backgrounds in a more relax and comfortable space of love, trust, friendship, interest and sharing . The power of togetherness and love is the only tool that can grow us as one people and we as open meal with refugees are using this food exchange as our platform to bring togetherness and love in our community.

Concept: cook your favorite country or family dish and bring to the event to share with us. We will have games, stories, music, dance, arts and face painting for kids
