Wij gaan beginnen met een nieuw zorg-/ zangtraject, "Stem&Luister": betekenisvol contact met mensen met dementie via zang.
Onze bewoners hebben, zoals ieder mens, behoefte aan contact en verbinding. Hoe maak je contact wanneer taal verdwijnt? Genetic Choir heet een bijzondere methode ontwikkeld om contact te maken met ouderen met dementie: de Stem&Luister methode. Het is een unieke improvisatiemethode en heeft veel toegevoegde waarde voor bewoners die soms letterlijk zonder woorden zijn.
Nu gaan wij vanaf het najaar ons eigen Rosa Spier Huis 'koor' van vrijwilligers opleiden. Doe je mee? Je hoeft hiervoor geen zangervaring te hebben; slechts een warm hart voor onze bewoners en het enthousiasme om deze nieuwe methode te leren waarbij je je stem intuitief gebruikt, is meer dan voldoende.
Op donderdag 3 september 14.00-17.00 uur, organiseren we een kennismakingsworkshop in het Rosa Spier Huis, waarin je zelf de methode kunt ervaren. Daarna beslis je of je onderdeel wilt worden van het Rosa Spier Stem&Luister koor en wilt starten met de opleiding vanaf het najaar.
Aan de Workshop en de opleiding zijn geen kosten verbonden.

Activities
A volunteer will be used for tasks that she prefers and that she / he has knowledge about.
Volunteers are deployed for various tasks that are not covered by the paid activities. You can think of providing support with our theater performances, walking with residents, reading aloud, accompanying residents during a doctor's or hospital visit, or just a visit to a resident for socializing. There are many more activities to name.
