The Red Cross helps people in need. We do that around the corner – and far away. We do this from the heart and with our sleeves rolled up. And we do this with many volunteers who work with passion. We operate worldwide from our seven founding principles: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntariness, unity and universality.
As the Red Cross, we are active at various times and locations in North and Central Limburg. During the corona crisis, for example, we help in healthcare institutions and support the GGD with first aid during vaccination.
We would like to share the stories about what we do with our volunteers and the general public. For a smooth course of internal and external communication, we are looking for a
District Coordinator Communication (voluntary)
What are you going to do?
- As a coordinator you help to set up a communication plan and ensure its implementation.
- You coordinate the internal and external communication of the district of North and Central Limburg.
- Together with the location coordinators, you post content on various channels, such as the Red Cross website, e-mail newsletters and social media such as Facebook and LinkedIn.
- You write press releases and keep in touch with the local media.
- You support colleagues and directors with their communication issues.
Who are you?
- You have HBO work and thinking level in the field of communication.
- You have experience with WordPress and managing various social media channels.
- You are enterprising and have a smooth pen.
- You subscribe to the seven basic principles of the Red Cross.
- You are good at organizing and collaborating with a team.
- You are available for this position for about 3 to 6 hours per week.
