Warehouse employee National Logistics (voluntary)

Would you like to be practical?

The team of volunteers from the Red Cross National Logistics in Loenen (Gelderland) is present every week on Monday and Tuesday to prepare materials, for example for national events, emergency aid or calamities. No day is the same, what is tackled partly depends on the demand for support from the country. The tasks are very different, both light tasks and tasks that are physically strenuous. Due to the increasing demand for logistics services within the Red Cross, several volunteers are welcome.

What are you going to do?

· All common activities, such as packing and checking materials, repairs, collecting materials and placing them in roll containers, filling the truck;

· Support for emergency relief and crisis interventions throughout the Netherlands such as refugees, high water in Limburg, evacuations;

. Transporting materials to various locations throughout the country;

. Packing and checking standard first aid bags, event boxes, hygiene sets;

· Set-up and breakdown of major events.

Who are you?

· You are able to perform physical work, such as moving full roll containers;

· You are willing to tackle what needs to be done and you can work carefully;

· You are available on Monday and/or Tuesday and can be called up in consultation for extra work;

· You are in possession of a BE and/or C driving license;

· You live within a radius of 45 km around Loenen (GLD).
