District care support coordinator (volunteer)

Healthcare institutions are increasingly confronted with crisis situations. The Red Cross district of Gelderland therefore trains volunteers to assist in an emergency within hospitals or nursing homes. These care assistants live throughout Gelderland and are on call if the care provided to vulnerable residents falls below the lower limit. Now that the team is growing, there is room for a volunteer care support coordinator.

What are you going to do?

In this position you ensure that volunteers of the care support team are well supported. You ensure that volunteers feel seen, have the space to ask questions and can gain the right experience and knowledge to assist in crisis situations in a healthcare institution.

You do this by conducting (telephone) intake and progress interviews with the volunteers, answering questions and possibly also by organizing in-depth meetings. Because the team is active throughout Gelderland, most contact moments will take place by telephone or digitally.

· You can keep a good overview, are meticulous and digitally sufficiently skilled;

· You are available 6 hours a week and preferably live in the province of Gelderland;

· You are willing to work mainly from home;
