Coordinator guest lessons Gelderland (voluntary)

With our guest lectures we want to inspire pupils and students to dedicate themselves to others. During these lessons, the young people discover what assistance is needed after major disasters, their willingness to help is tested or they study the rules that apply during an armed conflict. We introduce children of primary school age to First Aid through a guest lesson or the Plaster Race.

Position in the organization

The guest lectures coordinator works closely with the other education coordinators and project leaders. In addition, there is regular contact with the voluntary guest lecturers. There are currently about 30 information officers active in Gelderland.

What are you going to do?

· Coordinate incoming requests for guest lessons with the school;

· Register requests for guest lessons and distribute them among the volunteers in order to finalize the planning. You will work with Tools and Teams;

· Check whether the lesson bags and materials for guest lessons are present;

· Conducting online intake interviews with potential advisors together with the project leader;

· Conduct annual progress interviews with volunteers;

· Attend regional quarterly meetings for education volunteers.

Who are you?

· You like to plan, organize and collaborate;

· You are digitally skilled and administratively well versed;

· You are an accessible and positive personality;

· You have an affinity with young people and / or education;

· You have 6-8 hours of available time per week on weekdays.
