The Red Cross is currently busy supporting municipalities in the reception of refugees from Ukraine.
The Red Cross is currently busy supporting municipalities in the reception of refugees from Ukraine. Also in North East Gelderland our volunteers are committed to this every day as hostess / lord. They help with the registration of new refugees and are the first point of contact for the residents within the reception. In addition, they provide support with various hand and span services. All services within the reception locations are listed in our Tools database. Volunteers can register themselves for this.
The North East Gelderland district is looking for several Reception Coordinators (voluntarily) for 10-15 hours a week.
What are you going to do?
- Scheduling Red Cross volunteers or Ready2Helpers.
- Answering questions from volunteers by e-mail and telephone.
- Briefing volunteers in advance by means of a work instruction and/or letter of commitment.
- Continuous evaluation of the deployment.
- Keep work instruction/letter of application up to date.
- Maintaining contact with the municipal official or the location coordinator of the reception.
Who are you?
- You have completed a training at at least MBO level 4.
- You have your own computer and you can work well with software systems, including MS Office/Microsoft 365.
- You have a great sense of responsibility and you work accurately.
- You have a good command of the Dutch language and you have good communication skills.
- You can plan and organize well.
- You are stress resistant and flexible and you can switch quickly.
- You subscribe to the seven basic principles of the Red Cross.
