Take action for the Red Cross
We have been active with an education team in North and East Gelderland since May 2021. Our information officers work at primary, secondary and MBO schools with our diverse range of interactive guest lessons and activities. Our goal is to teach children and young people an attitude of respect, willingness to help and self-reliance. More and more schools see the relevance of this, partly because the guest lectures support them in achieving the citizenship goals.
As the demand for our classes is growing, as is our team of educators, we are looking for a volunteer to support our team with the planning and administrative handling of the classes. You do most of your work from home.
What are you going to do?
· You process incoming lesson requests in our system
· You keep overviews regarding the team and lessons given
· You link information officers to requests received, including via our Whatsapp group
· You agree the details about the content of lessons with the schools
You attend meetings with the project leader and volunteer coordinators
Who are you?
· You like to be "spider in the web" and like to organize
· You like to record things administratively
You can work independently but also enjoy being part of a team
· You have at least 6 hours a week for these tasks
· You are digitally skilled and are not afraid to get acquainted with our software system for recording lessons
· You subscribe to the seven basic principles of the Red Cross
