Volunteer coach (volunteer)

You know better than anyone how to guide, inspire and connect volunteers.

Do you have HR qualities or do you want to develop them further? Do you have a few hours a week to spare and would you like to spend them on volunteer work? And would you like to be part of an enthusiastic and energetic   team ? Then become a volunteer coach at the best Red Cross location in the East Netherlands Region: the Renkum-Wageningen location!

The 4-6 hours per week that you spend on this position will mainly be spent conducting interviews with volunteers. You provide intake, progress and exit interviews. You help with the recruitment and selection of new team members and guide them from the start as a volunteer. You are the point of contact for all volunteers and are closely involved with them. If they are struggling with something, they come to you. Anniversaries or other special moments to celebrate? You ensure that attention is paid to this. You also ensure that meetings are organised. In this way, you contribute to the retention and fascination of volunteers.

This may seem like a lot, but you don't have to do it alone. You are part of the coordinator team that works closely together.

What are you taking with you?

• You would like to commit yourself to Red Cross volunteers and the organization;
• An HR or coaching background is an advantage (and win-win) if you are studying in that direction!
• You have good communication and social skills and are empathetic;
• You enjoy being part of a team and are able to connect people;
• You are available approximately 4 to 6 hours per week and live in or near Renkum-Wageningen.

When you register, you sign a volunteer agreement and a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) will be requested from you.
