Do you want to provide first aid? Are you social, stress-resistant and can you keep a cool head? And would you like to do meaningful and responsible volunteer work? Then register as a first aid worker at the Red Cross!
As a first responder at the Red Cross, you are trained to act in unexpected situations and keep your skills sharp at various events. Whether it is a sports match, festival or another event where the Red Cross is asked for support - you and your team are ready where help is needed. Because: when you see the Red Cross, you see help.
What do we offer you?
- Meaningful and responsible volunteer work – you make the difference
- Free training and further education, largely online
- The free choice of which events or services you register for
- The possibility of expanding your (social) network

What are you taking with you?
- You are 18 years or older
- You have a valid first aid certificate or are willing to obtain one
- You are stress-resistant and physically capable of first aid and resuscitation actions
- You listen well and respond promptly to the needs of those seeking help
- You are available for deployment as a care provider for at least 32 hours per year
- You endorse our Principles
When you register, you sign a volunteer agreement and a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) will be requested from you.
