The Dutch Red Cross helps people in need with nearly 30,000 volunteers and 40,000 ready2 helpers. We do that around the corner and far away. We do this from our hearts and with our sleeves rolled up. To ensure that no one is alone in times of need, we help people, we ensure that people are prepared and we make people aware that they can help others. We work worldwide on the basis of our seven principles: humanity; impartiality; neutrality; independence; voluntary; unity and generality. In our country there are few people who know what to do in an emergency situation. The Red Cross wants to provide more people with First Aid knowledge and skills and offers various first aid workshops and courses. We offer training for paying customers, for organizations and also for customized First Aid for people from vulnerable groups. In Gooi- en Vechtstreek, the first aid training team consists of a project leader and an organizer. We would like to expand the team in the short term with an EMPLOYEE SPORT - ACCOUNTS FIRST AID (volunteer function) The Red Cross District Gooi and Vechtstreek strives to train first aid to as many people as possible. To be able to approach our target group properly, we are looking for an enthusiastic lady or gentleman who can come and support us at the front office. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? As a sports account employee, you and your colleague will actively approach sports organizations. Together with the sports clubs you organize first aid and resuscitation courses for employees, sports instructors and members. In cooperation with the communication team you can (have) specified promotional packages made. You enter into discussions with the organizations and together with the First Aid project leader you can see how we can best serve the sports clubs in the field of First Aid courses. WE ARE LOOKING FOR • You are a flexible team player with a large dose of communication and organizational talent. • You are not afraid to approach people or pick up the phone. • You can be employed for an average of 4-8 hours a week and are prepared to commit to us for a longer period of time. • You basically work from our cozy office in Bussum (on Tuesday or Thursday) and possibly. partly from home. • You are handy on the computer, you are good at working with Microsoft programs and Outlook and you can quickly switch to various activities. • Of course you subscribe to our basic principles and you enjoy working with volunteers. Activities
We organize various activities on a local level. We offer emergency assistance, provide information and help people to save themselves and also offer all kinds of recreational activities to people with a limited social network. We also provide first aid courses and
