The Repair Café Bussum Foundation wants to bring repair back into the local society in a modern way. Its aim is to preserve and spread repair knowledge, and to promote social cohesion by bringing neighbors with very different backgrounds and motivations into contact with each other in the context of inspiring and accessible meetings.
Activities
Keeping Repair Cafés accessible free of charge that revolve around (together) repairing. At the location where the Repair Café is held, tools and materials are available to carry out all possible repairs: clothing, furniture, electrical and electronic equipment, bicycles, toys, etc. Repair experts (all volunteers) are also present, such as electricians, seamstresses. , carpenters and bicycle repairers.
