Become a Video Friend!

With the Video Friends program we bring refugees and Dutch people into digital contact with each other in the provinces of South Holland , North Brabant and Limburg . You make weekly video calls in Dutch based on different themes and get to know each other's favorite food, music and series. That is not only a lot of fun, but also very educational. A valuable meeting outside your own bubble!

Video Friends in 5 steps:

1. Register : Register for the program via this vacancy. We will contact you as soon as we have received your registration.
2. Match : We match you to a Video Friend based on place of residence, age and interests. Once we have found a match, we will send a message with information about your Video Friend.
3. Theme : We connect you to each other in a WhatsApp group. We share a theme to talk about every week for a period of five weeks. We remain available for questions and provide appropriate guidance during the five weeks
4. Video calling : You agree on a time during the week when you will make video calls. You can make video calls via WhatsApp.
5. Evaluation : After five weeks we ask if you want to keep in touch. We will no longer send themes, but we will remain available for questions.
