Providing a meaningful leisure activity to our youth members, and above all instilling and keeping fun in football;
Offering a high-quality football technical training. This by investing in (qualified) youth trainers and leaders, in facilities and materials and a strong youth training framework and organization;
Performing to measure and the capabilities of a team or the individual players, and thereby performing at the best possible level. This is ensured by establishing a “player tracking system” whereby the developments and performances of each player in the football field, from F to A team, are actively monitored annually and further improved via a player report;
Learning sporting behavior, norms and values on and around the fields;
Working on a good flow and throughput between the different youth teams and from the youth department to the senior teams, in particular to the 1st team.
The above objectives may have a different priority per age category and per team division. The focus of the low age categories (pupil teams) is mainly on football fun. As players get older, the goal will be to play more performance-oriented football. We strive for a healthy mix of recreational and performance football for all teams, based on the football qualities of individual players and of the teams. The A-team will pay special attention to the preparations for a possible switch from youth players to the senior teams, and especially the supply to the 1st and 2nd team. Support and guidance from the senior teams is indispensable in this.
