Are you an enthusiastic volunteer who loves to cook and enjoys working with the elderly? Then we are looking for you!
For our acute psychiatric admission department for the elderly in Ede, we are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer to cook with our clients one or more days a week. It is a valuable activity in which clients actively participate, practice new skills, and work step by step on their recovery. Currently, we cook fresh meals on the ward two days a week, but we have the ambition to expand this to five days a week. This way, even more clients can participate and enjoy a fresh, home-cooked meal.
In addition, we are exploring the possibilities of deploying this activity more broadly within our High and Medium Care departments in the future. A great development in which your contribution can truly make a difference!
Is cooking not really your thing, but do you enjoy getting your hands dirty? Then you are more than welcome too! We are also looking for volunteers who want to help maintain our garden. In this way, you contribute in a different, but equally valuable way to a pleasant and green living environment for our clients.
