Parkinson Café Apeldoorn organizes meetings about 10 times a year for people with Parkinson's disease or Parkinsonism. As a new team member you support writing texts for the local media and the website of Parkinson Café Apeldoorn.

As a new team member you support writing texts for the local media and the website of Parkinson Café Apeldoorn.
As a real team player you enjoy co-designing the Parkinson Café meetings with the other volunteers in your team.
You are responsible for devising and executing all external communication activities in collaboration with the team; you write stimulating, informative and promotional texts for flyers, local newspapers, etc. You also ensure that the websites of the Parkinson Café Apeldoorn are provided with fresh content.
What do you get in return?

The Parkinson's Association is a medium-sized patient association with almost 9,000 members. The association's more than 550 volunteers are supported by the national office in Bunnik. Together with active members, the agency carries out activities in the field of peer contact, information, advocacy and science policy. The Parkinson's Association organizes various meetings for members every year, including the annual symposium World Parkinson's Day and courses and workshops from the Parkinson Academy. At regional and local level there are exercise groups and activities from more than 65 Parkinson Cafés. Here you can meet periodically in an informal, relaxed atmosphere.
