About Opera Spanga The Spanga het Verona van Weststellingwerf Foundation (OPERA SPANGA) has been producing operas and opera films in a unique way since 1989 in the Frisian town of Spanga. The company is committed to keeping the medium of opera alive; only the unpredictability is predictable. The location, the small village of Spanga (200 inhabitants) contributes to its success. This year Opera Spanga is making the success opera Carmen!
