Walking volunteer wanted

The volunteer independently picks up a resident at the Walraven home or the BvWp. The care provider may help to prepare the resident for the walk.

The resident can sit in a wheelchair, walk independently or walk behind a walker. The volunteer walks with the resident through the area of Bennekom for 20 to 30 minutes or longer.

So in a half day you can take a walk with several residents. We assume a minimum of 2 residents per half day but this can also be 4, this depends on the time and the demand.

If necessary, letting the volunteer's own dog walk along can be an extra addition. Clear agreements must be made about this.

What do we expect from you:

Vital and in good sporty condition

Sociable and can easily make contacts

Flexible

It is an outdoor activity

Frequency:

Morning: e.g. from 10am to 12pm

Afternoon: e.g. from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM

Evening: from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM

If possible weekly for the structure. The time of walking can vary this depends on the residents and what the volunteer can and is available.
