Coordinator of litter clean-up actions

There was a very successful litter challenge in Stede Broec on 6 February. A lot of people participated in this. Many people indicated that they would often like to go through the streets with a prod and garbage bag. To ensure that this runs smoothly, we are looking for someone who can coordinate these clean-up actions.

What are you going to do?

• You ensure that well-coordinated clean-up actions take place periodically. These will be local actions, but linking up with national initiatives is strongly recommended.
• You maintain contact with volunteers through various channels and ensure that everyone is aware of the clean-up actions.
• You make people enthusiastic and in that way recruit new members / cleaners.
• You actively seek opportunities to collaborate with other parties. Think of the municipality, enthusiastic companies / organizations and other local pollutant initiatives.
• You actively seek contact with the (local) media to publicize the clean-up campaigns.

What do we ask?

• A proactive person who can network well and connect people.
• Someone with an affinity for a clean living environment.
• Someone with some experience in organizing events / promotions.

• Support / consultation with a youth worker from Ons Stede Broec once every two weeks.
