The general board member is a member of the general board. All board members have an equal position in the General Board. It is important that a general board member feels a connection with the museum. At the administrative level, this commitment is aimed at contributing to and taking part in decisions about the museum's policy plans and supervising their implementation by the Executive Board and the management.

Within the General Board, competencies must be present in the areas: personnel, collection, housing and fundraising. Preferably, a general board member focuses on one of these specialties, but without refraining from thinking along with and contributing to the general board policy.

Task: fundraising

Prepare and implement a fundraising plan in order to acquire external resources for the maintenance and maintenance of the collection as well as for the redevelopment of the museum

Setting up and coordinating fundraising activities in collaboration with the executive board and the director

Maintaining contacts with the local and regional business community (sponsorship)

Actions aimed at funds and subsidies

Helping to increase the visibility of the museum's activities

Job requirements

Good communication, information and motivation

Relevant experience or affinity with the field of fundraising and marketing or enthusiasm for it

To be able to write in an appealing way

A result-oriented and enthusiastic attitude

Can plan and organize

Has good communication skills

Able to represent the organization both internally and externally and to propagate the established policy vision.
