Administrative support sailing excursions Naardermeer m / f

Natuurmonumenten organizes annual boat trips on the Naardermeer between April and October. This is done from the management office in Naarden, where two supporting employees guide the tours organizationally. The tours themselves are led by a team of 25 enthusiastic voluntary excursion leaders. Tours can be booked individually, private groups and schools. We work with an automated booking system and guide timetable.

The Gooi en Vechtstreek management unit of Natuurmonumenten is looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who will provide administrative support to the management team.

Functional parts are:

December to March

• Entering the annual program in the booking system
• Compile the guide timetable based on availability of the excursion leaders
• Actively bringing the educational program to the attention of schools in the area

April to November

• Daily / weekly check of booked voyages; scheduling guides, possibly coordinating bookings with management team
• Give extra attention to specific exceptional cases in the bookings
• Administration of booking numbers
• Processing bookings from schools, maintaining contact with schools and coordination with youth guides.

November to January

• Contribute to the evaluation of the sailing season.

What we ask:

• Affinity and experience with administration
• Experience with working with the computer; being familiar with booking programs is a recommendation, but is not necessary.
• Willingness to work together
• Availability of at least half a day a week throughout the year.
• MBO thinking level
• Willingness, after a training period, to commit for a few years.
