Summary
The museum shop manager is responsible for purchasing and selecting the range, the manner of presentation and checking sales/stock.
Detailed description
The shop sells items that are mainly related to the history of Wageningen or to a lesser extent to the environment and Gelderland. Exceptionally also with other interfaces.
For exhibitions, a search will be made for matching items that are temporarily sold.
The duties of the museum shop manager include:
· Presenting the shop items in the museum shop in an attractive and orderly manner
Ensure that all items are correctly priced and provided with an item number
Keeping the stock and financial administration in a timely manner as part of the cash administration
Make a stock count at least twice a year (as of June 30 and December 31)
· Notifying the treasurer in good time when an article is running out and making proposals based on sales data or whether the relevant article needs to be supplemented
make proposals to treasurer of new store items
