About Museum Huis Verwolde

The Van der Borch family lived in Huis Verwolde for two hundred years and the house from 1776 can still be seen in its original state. You will see the attractively furnished rooms on the main floor and pass, among other things, the beautifully restored Chinese room, lounge and dining room.
In the basement you will be taken along in the preparations for the "Blijde Incomst", the festive dedication of the house for the new residents. Audio stories, photos, historical utensils and a look behind the scenes, let you feel what it was like to work in the service of the Van der Borch family around 1927.
You can view both the basement and the main floor on your own.
In every season you can enjoy the garden around the house. The park is freely accessible and open when the house is also open
