Are you that BEL coordinator with a heart for the elderly?

Due to growth, the Met je hart BEL foundation is looking for additional members for the core team for the municipality of Laren. Can you connect and organize with your heart? Then we are looking for you!

Your heart is about vulnerable elderly people and meeting, about feeling and connecting, about building something that makes people happy and happy, but also about entrepreneurship and a social movement where you are inspired to take action for the other .

With your heart is a young, successful, growing foundation with a large group of fantastic volunteers. Together we build a strong organization that wants to continue to answer connections with frail older people in our society.

We are still in the construction phase in the BEL municipalities. We now have 10 volunteers and 11 elderly. But there must be much more, for that we need to strengthen our core team. It is a voluntary function.

What are you going to do?

You will coordinate beautiful meetings together with the other core team members and volunteers. You are the point of contact for the elderly and maintain good contacts with the volunteers who help you with the meetings.

What can your duties be?

• You are the contact person for the With your heart elderly people from your own municipality;
• You are the contact person of the permanent volunteers who lead a 6-week trunk table and support them with questions;
• You initiate new encounters, coordinate contact with the location and invite the elderly;
• You arrange transport to and from a meeting with the volunteers;
• You identify important changes in the elderly and note this in our CRM system;
• You share important experiences in the field during the team meeting, so that action can be taken on this;
• You are the contact person for care and welfare authorities in your own neighborhood.

What type are we looking for?

You want to volunteer, are a social, but also creative regulator, organizer and coordinator, who can work independently as well as within a team. You are structured, a planner and communicative. You have a hands-on mentality, a listening ear and empathy. You are flexible in time and effort, based on approximately 8 hours per week. Finally, you live in the municipality of Laren.
