Maatjes Apeldoorn is a collaboration between De Kap and Stimenz. Maatjes Apeldoorn links a buddy (volunteer) to a participant who needs a buddy at certain points in life. The buddy contact lasts a maximum of one year and is aimed at personal development.
What are you going to do?
• Together with a participant who is less active, you will exercise 1 to 2 hours per week
• This could be an overweight participant, a physical or mental disability or someone who needs your help to get moving
• For example, you go for a walk, run, cycle, swim or go to the gym together
• You help the other person to become healthier and fitter
