Het Leger des Heils Deventer organiseert op meerdere momenten in de week en op en meerdere plaatsen in de stad Buurthuiskamers.
De buurthuiskamer wordt uitgevoerd door vrijwilligers ondersteund door een beroepskracht. Mensen komen binnen met hun verhalen, zorgen en problemen en genieten van een kopje koffie of thee. We hebben geen hoge pretenties maar proberen er gewoon "te zijn" voor mensen, door te luisteren, soms te adviseren en soms ook door te verwijzen. In de loop der tijd dat we dit doen merken we dat een wekelijks rustpunt zijn geworden in een roerige tijd. We zoeken een extra "gastheer of gastvrouw" die het prettig vindt een steentje bij te dragen en ook mee te denken over het verder uitrollen van het buurthuiskamer project.
