Watch volunteers

Many people prefer to die at home. Sometimes, however, the burden on their loved ones to provide care becomes too high. In such a case, volunteers of the Leendert Vriel can help out and devote time, attention and support to the sick person and their loved ones. There is close cooperation with home care organizations. The volunteers do not perform any nursing activities. They can, however, take over the care of the caregivers for a while so that the caregiver can sleep peacefully for a night, knowing that his or her loved one is not alone. Leendert Vriel Enschede Haaksbergen is looking for new volunteers (m / f); volunteers who want to watch over people who are seriously ill at night and who want to be cared for at home until their death. A certain prior education is not necessary, but emotional stability, motivation and an open attitude are. To be well prepared for this work, new volunteers are offered an introductory course.
