Land van Ons is looking for a board member with knowledge of the business and legal aspects of land purchase and management (steward).
Land van Ons is growing and is looking for new board members. Given the experience and background of the current board members, we are looking for a volunteer with legal-business knowledge of land purchase and management.
Land van Ons works with volunteers as much as possible. We want to use the money that our participants invest mainly for the purchase of land and the improvement of biodiversity.
We are looking for someone who...
– has an availability of at least 2 days a week
– wholeheartedly endorses the objectives of Land van Ons
– has commercial and business economic insight
- has good communication skills and willingness to cooperate
– a background and network in the agricultural sector is an advantage
- Final responsibility in a previous position is an advantage
We offer
We are a young organization and still developing. This also applies to the board of Land van Ons. We offer the opportunity to participate in an enthusiastic and hard-working team and to co-lead the approach to the practical issues that Land van Ons is dealing with and the further development of the long-term strategy. The portfolios of the board members are divided by mutual agreement. In this role you will in any case have the selection and purchase of agricultural land in your portfolio.

Land van Ons must become the basis for a new 'ecological main structure', but then for agricultural land. We want a small-scale landscape that is as natural as possible, instead of production meadows and fields. Together with the farmer, we make sustainable choices in the form of crop, the way of planting, designing and managing the fields. In this way, more places are created where there is a rich soil life and shelter for all kinds of plants, animals and insects. By providing the fields with trees, hedges and shrubs, our landscape becomes more diverse and you can again marvel at what you see.
