We are looking for chefs, cooks and foodie types to volunteer a few hours per week in our skincare workshop to bring their transferable 'formulating' skills.
We're looking for people from the food industry that are taking a break, have positive energy and have an interest in creating skin & hair food! You'll also want to be part of making positive a difference to the world.
As a seasoned foodie professional, you'll be confident creating and following recipes, understanding the science between food combinations and be accurate at maths and measuring ingredients. You'll know the difference between a whisk, a homogeniser and a blender.
Depending on your skills, we would love you to support with:
- Creating and formulating our plant-based formulas
- Using your knowledge of locally-grown edible plants to create unique healthy cosmetics
- Tidying and organising the workshop
- Or other tasks you feel fit your skills and interests
You will get:
- A certificate for your volunteering placement
- A reference letter
- Learning opportunities
