The Water Sports Association consists of and is committed to more than 400 affiliated water sports organizations and around 90,000 people. We are daily concerned with the safety and availability of waterways. But also stimulating youth and top sport are part of our work.
Are you looking for fun (technical) volunteering for 1 day a week in water sports? Then the position of Volunteer Top Sailing Center Scheveningen might be something for you!
As a Volunteer Top Sailing Center Scheveningen you work together with our Top Sport Coordinator and other volunteers. The activities are very diverse, for example, you are busy with small maintenance on the boat and fleet of vehicles one week and you will be bringing cars or boats for major maintenance the following week. You have a lot of contact with our (young) top athletes, which creates a very nice dynamic.
What do we expect from you?
This volunteer function is very varied. It is therefore important that you are flexible for at least 1 day a week. We may also need your help during the weekend. The work consists of managing the materials and tools, keeping the various buildings, cars and boats tidy.
You also have:
· A BE driving license;
· Broad general technical knowledge and insight;
· A proactive and flexible attitude;
· Affinity with water sports (pre).
In addition, you prefer to live in the Haaglanden region.
