About Kids College Apeldoorn
Kids College Apeldoorn is a weekend school. We offer a program for motivated and curious students. Talent development is central to this.
Kids College Apeldoorn offers children between the ages of 10 and 14 a wonderful opportunity to develop their talents and ambitions and to take a look behind doors that would otherwise remain closed to them.
The program is offered on 24 Sundays a year. Guest lecturers from various professions are central to this. With their passion they offer an interactive teaching package that gives children an extra stimulus and offers them the opportunity to step out of their daily environment.
The organisation
Kids College Apeldoorn is largely a volunteer organization. The organization is supported by a small and professional staff (3 part-time employees).
The board determines policy. The board (currently 5 members) meets 8 - 10 times a year.
Your tasks
Kids College Apeldoorn is looking for a woman or man who is willing to invest an average of four hours a week in the administrative activities of the foundation. This involves both secretarial and financial tasks. In essence, this concerns agenda preparation, budget preparation, annual reports and preparation of an audit. In addition, the secretary/treasurer, together with the chairman, forms the DB and together with members of the staff the MT.
Who are you
You are a woman or man with a heart for education. Someone who also has a feel for the business operations (in particular finance, personnel and administration) of a small volunteer organization. You believe in collaboration and you feel at home in both administrative and more operational tasks.

About Kids College Apeldoorn
Kids College Apeldoorn (KCA) is a weekend school for curious children who want to dive into a fascinating world. A world that they do not often come into contact with due to their home situation. During our Sunday afternoon program, they can discover this together with Apeldoorn professionals. In addition to the weekend school, KCA also participates in the extra school day for group 5/6 at the Apeldoorn educationally disadvantaged schools. These take place on Wednesday afternoons at the school itself.
Our students get to know interesting people from the business world and work with them. In this way, the children learn to discover their talents, gain a broader view of their possibilities and develop more self-confidence. All this with the aim of supporting and motivating them in their choice for further education.
KCA provides guest lessons 24 Sunday afternoons per year, each focusing on a different profession.
Children who are open to new things and who want a little help finding their way. KCA increases the self-awareness and self-confidence of children. The lessons are given in the EnergieFabriek on the Vlijtseweg or at the location of the guest lecturer. Participation in KCA is free. KCA sets your talent in motion!
