Do you provide the content for the website of KerstSaam Wageningen? Do you ensure that our texts are informative, readable and up-to-date?
A good website is essential for the success of KerstSaam Wageningen. The website is where providers of activities and Wageningers interested in these activities can find each other. The information on the site must be correct, easy to read and easy to find. The core team of KerstSaam Wageningen does not have enough time and expertise to set up the website itself. A volunteer is committed to the technical realization of the website in WordPress. For the content of the website, we are looking for someone who has a feeling for and experience with short, informative texts that are read and understood by the target group: Wageningers with a limited budget who want to do fun things with others at Christmas.
Texts on the website are largely provided by the organizations, institutions, churches, companies and clubs that offer activities for Christmas 2025. These texts will need editing to be readable, correct and comparable in style.
Do you have experience writing and editing texts that grab readers on a website and put them on the right track? Do you enjoy working with the website developer and the core team members with this commitment? Do you like to work independently from your home office at hours of your choosing? Are you available soon?
Then you are the person we are looking for. Even if you do not have much experience with texts, but want to learn in this function, we invite you to apply.
Together with you as webmaster, we ensure that no one in Wageningen has to celebrate Christmas alone this year.

Wageningen offers a rich amount of christmas activities with which residents of Wageningen can meet eachother. Think of eating together, hiking together, celebrate christmas together.
KerstSaam Wageningen wants to show all these activities and make these more accessable, in particular for residents who are alone and need plaesant company and a listning ear. Where there is a lack of services we try to fill the gaps.
KerstSaam Wageningen is initiated on a not-for profit basis in 2025 by five committed civilians. KerstSaam Wageningen can only become succesful with the help of volunteers with passion for vulnable people.
