Will you help people who don't want to eat alone at Christmas find a place at the table with other Wageningen residents? Will you make sure they get a companion?
Around Christmas, a tremendous amount of activities are organized in Wageningen. KerstSaam Wageningen offers a platform to showcase all these activities. There are lonely Wageningen residents who can't or don't want to participate in these group activities. We want to start a new activity for these people: individual Wageningen residents will be paired one-on-one to eat together, go out, or play a game. We are looking for a volunteer coordinator to set up, organize, and implement this project. We will provide guidance and support. You can manage your own time and work from home. After Christmas 2025, you will conclude the project with a short evaluation. This way, you too can contribute to ensuring that no one in Wageningen has to be alone at Christmas!

Wageningen offers a rich amount of christmas activities with which residents of Wageningen can meet eachother. Think of eating together, hiking together, celebrate christmas together.
KerstSaam Wageningen wants to show all these activities and make these more accessable, in particular for residents who are alone and need plaesant company and a listning ear. Where there is a lack of services we try to fill the gaps.
KerstSaam Wageningen is initiated on a not-for profit basis in 2025 by five committed civilians. KerstSaam Wageningen can only become succesful with the help of volunteers with passion for vulnable people.
