Do you want to think about issues that are at play in your municipality? And start a conversation with other young people (once or more often)?
On Monday, December 21, young people in the municipality of Hoorn are invited to contribute ideas about youth policy. The conversation will take place online via Teams.
The subject of the discussion this evening = preventive youth policy memorandum .

'Prevention is better than cure'. And that of course also applies to problems. But sometimes young people run into problems. You want to prevent these problems from getting worse. To solve the problems, the young person can seek help from family, friends, the neighbor or someone he / she knows well, trusts and feels comfortable with. But what if such a person is not around?
In addition, help is available to ensure that the young person can be helped (via organizations from the field such as the GGD and the Netwerk foundation itself!). This is what the memorandum preventive youth policy is all about! What do the youth find important in seeking help when they experience a problem? Do they know where to go? And do they know that it is free? These are a few of the questions we would like to discuss with young people on December 21!
