Do you have a warm personality and a hospitable appearance? Would you like to contribute to the last phase of someone's life? Then come and work as a hostess/host in our hospice.

We offer a hospitable stay to people in their last phase of life where loving care and attention are paramount.

As hostess/host you receive the visitors for our guests and offer them coffee/tea. You answer the phone and keep the kitchen and living room tidy.

You take care of the flowers and plants. You also take care of the joint coffee/tea moment for all employees in the morning and afternoon or for meetings. You handle the mail. You also do incidental administrative and reception work.

You work under the responsibility of the nurse on duty.

Working hours:

• Working days: from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm and 12.30 pm to 4.30 pm.
• Weekends: from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and 2:30 am to 3:30 pm.

There is one hostess/host per shift, so you work independently.

Frequency:

We expect you to be able to run at least three shifts per month, including a shift on weekends or a holiday with some regularity.

Skills:

Warm personality and welcoming appearance.

General:

A cozy and informal organization in which we take care of the last phase of our guests together.

Induction method and guidance:

You will be trained by a fellow hostess/host. You work under the responsibility of the nurse on duty.

Schooling:

Various courses in the field of palliative care.

Expense allowance: Travel expenses only.
