Do you enjoy hanging out with young girls from different cultures and cooking and eating together? Once every 14 days on Wednesday from 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm.
Detailed description
Once every two weeks, a group of young girls cook and eat together. Do you enjoy hanging out with them and helping them cook? Then you are very welcome as a volunteer at De Sleutel Kerschoten. The girls come up with the menu together with you and the professional, you do the shopping with 2 of them and help the girls with the cooking. And of course you eat together. In between there is room for a game or a chat about what concerns the girls.
What do we offer you
· An enthusiastic group of about 6 - 10 girls aged 10 - 12 years. They have a migration background and Dutch descent. Most live in Kerschoten.
· Room for own input and ideas for meals
· Collaboration with the professional and an intern
· A volunteer agreement
· And of course a lot of appreciation for your efforts
What do we ask
· You can create peace and keep an overview
· You can think of and cook simple, healthy meals together with the girls
· You empathize with the girls' world and create a safe atmosphere
· You have an open attitude and a listening ear.
Time commitment
Once every two weeks on Wednesday from 3.30 pm to 7.30 pm. Dates in consultation.
