Summary
Volunteer(s) to provide facial treatment, make-up and/or manicures and nail painting to our female clients.
Detailed description
We are looking for one or more volunteers for our residential homes who are willing to spare part of the day to pamper our female clients with a facial treatment, make-up care and/or in combination with manicures and nail painting.
The clients who live with us are mainly concerned with daily matters and this is often enough for them. We know that our female clients enjoy some extra attention by having their face treated, getting make-up done or simply painting their nails. They don't get around to doing this themselves and you can give them an unforgettable experience. You do not need to have completed any training for this, but some knowledge and experience is desirable.
Depending on your options and wishes, your commitment can vary from once for half a day to, for example, once a month. Everything is welcome in this one!
This is you
In addition to knowledge and experience in the field of facial treatment and/or nail care, it is important that you have patience, are flexible and do not expect too much from the client.
Our client enjoys it in silence or by having a simple conversation. Just have fun with the client, do your thing and include the client in this and where you can have nice contact with the client. You automatically see what arises and can respond to the needs of the client/clients on the spot. You are reliable and are able to establish pleasant contact with our client. Where necessary, you can also be clear and indicate your boundaries.
Where do we go from here
After your registration there will be an introductory meeting where we would like to hear from you who you are, what your hobbies are and what makes you happy. We will also tell you about IrisZorg, location Het Hoogeland. If we think we can do something for each other, we will discuss how we can further shape it and arrange a meeting with a permanent contact person.

IrisZorg is there for young and old and for all layers of the population. We are there for people who have problems in the field of finances, relationships, work or (mental) health. Usually in combination with an addiction and/or (imminent) homelessness. We support clients towards recovery from integral addiction treatment and social counseling. We can use your help as a volunteer with that.
