Hospitable Canteen Volunteer

What are you going to do

We are looking for a Hospitable Canteen Volunteer for our meeting room for clients of Work, Activities & Learning.

As a canteen volunteer you receive our clients, you take care of coffee/tea, a soup or something like that at lunchtime. You also take care of small household chores, keeping the kitchen tidy, packing and unpacking the dishwasher, wiping tables and so on. A warm welcome, coziness and a chat are central.

If necessary, you can guide clients if they want to offer you a helping hand.

This is you

You are open to life. You like to 'just' let things happen and can respond to the needs of clients on the spot.

Without judgement, you can empathise with others. You are reliable and you are able to establish a pleasant contact with the clients. You know how to activate, enthuse and guide the clients in a natural way. If necessary, you can also be clear and indicate your boundaries. You find it important that the space is clean, tidy and hygienic.

How do we proceed?

After your registration, there will be an introductory meeting where we would like to hear from you who you are, what your hobbies are and what makes you happy. After the introductory meeting, we will discuss how to proceed. If necessary, there is an opportunity to visit the location.
