Meeting place 't Buurtpalet in Orden is looking for language volunteers who have good language skills, with regard to Dutch spelling and who have an affection for working with migrants. Preferably be able to attune their teaching program to the target group. The lessons are mainly focused on speaking skills.
We are a meeting place that offers all kinds of activities for local residents, young and old, families and single people. People who like to meet others, help each other and seek contacts. We offer a listening ear, creative courses, meals and pleasant evenings. We try to promote integration between local residents and allow everyone to come into their own. We have a Christian background.
Teaching Dutch to groups of migrants/status holders; men and women, of different ages and levels.
An open person, who loves people, has affection with other cultures and especially the we-culture.
A pleasant, lively workplace, with sufficient guidance from the coordinator, who is a teacher himself.
Time commitment: 1
1, 2, or 3 mornings a week from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

At the meeting place `t Buurtpalet (formerly Plexat) everyone is equally important. The meeting center is led by the Menorah City District Support Foundation. Everyone from the Orden district and the surrounding area is welcome with us for a cup of coffee or tea, a listening ear, a (hot) meal, creativity, sewing lessons, cooking course, Dutch lesson, a game, a good conversation or a nice chat.
Families and singles, young and old, Dutch and Medelanders come together to meet each other, make friends and help each other.
