Passionate Hostess/Host at the 'kLEEF!
The diagnosis of cancer is very drastic, not only for the person who has cancer but also for his or her environment. “You're suddenly on a rollercoaster” we hear a lot.
The walk-in house of the 'kLEEF! is the place in Apeldoorn where you can tell your story. According to our guests, an accessible house, where you immediately feel welcome and where attention is paid to how you feel at that moment. Guests receive this warm welcome from our hosts and hostesses.
Due to the expected crowds in our walk-in house, we are going to change our team
of hosts and hostesses even further.
Now that there are relaxations, we notice how great the need is for our guests (and new guests) to come.
We have extra space for a maximum of four volunteers.
Hosts and hosts are genuinely involved with our guests and their environment. He/she is someone who, together with our guest, makes things clear and sees what is needed. They inform guests about the various activities that are organized within our house.
Our hostess Janny about her work: "I have the feeling that by working at 'KLEEF! I can really mean something for the guest".
We ask
Hostesses and hosts are available half a day a week and are present four times a year for a work meeting. In addition, you are prepared to jump in for extra activities. Together we feel responsible for the atmosphere and appearance of our house.
Skills that are indispensable for us: Being a good listener, ability to identify where the guest's needs lie, affinity with the target group, empathy, open, honest, humor and interested in others.

As a volunteer you are invaluable to us and we strive to give something back. We offer a wonderful and professional volunteer organization!
You will work together with colleagues in a pleasant and pleasant workplace. Naturally we offer training and development, evaluation/progress interviews and guidance where necessary.
