Intern Projects for Sustainable Tuesday (32 - 36 hours)

Sustainable Tuesday has been collecting sustainable ideas and initiatives from society for many years. Every first Tuesday of September the Sustainable Tuesday suitcase, full of initiatives from individuals, companies, young and old, is offered to the government. In 2017 dozens of initiatives were highlighted to help them further. In 2018, a new suitcase full of sustainable ideas will once again be put on stage in politics in The Hague during Sustainable Tuesday. & Nbsp; Enthusiastic about Sustainable Tuesday? Come on a job!

We offer:

A challenging internship in the heart of Amsterdam where you have room get to work on your goals, assignments and competencies. Together with the project team, you are taking on the challenge of recruiting more sustainable ideas for the suitcase than in previous years. You do this by actively engaging in social media and connecting with current sustainable campaigns. In addition, you take part in various consultations, you support the team in the organizations of this national event where necessary and you give solicited and unsolicited communication advice to your colleagues. In addition to Sustainable Tuesday, you gain experience with other projects in the field of education, communication or event organization.

The internship period preferably starts between 1 February and March 1 takes 4-5 months . In consultation, it is possible to deviate from this. Preferably you are also present during Sustainable Tuesday and in consultation the weeks before.

- You are enthusiastic to make this event a success in 2018 as well:

- You work at higher professional education and higher education level

- You are strong with social media

- You are self-employed, proactive, enterprising, enthusiastic and happy to think along with you.

- You have affinity with and an eye for what is happening in the sustainable sector.

The organization

Sustainable Tuesday is organized by IVN (the Institute for Nature education and sustainability). IVN is working on a sustainable society. Our idea is that commitment to nature encourages sustainable action . That is why we allow young and old to experience nature up close. We connect them with green initiatives on nature and social themes such as nutrition, health and energy. We do this with twenty thousand committed members and a huge network of green professionals. That makes IVN a unique partner in sustainability and corporate responsibility. The Sustainable Tuesday project team works from the office in Amsterdam.
