IVN Apeldoorn is looking for school guides

Who are we?

IVN Apeldoorn is an active association of volunteers and one of the local branches of the national association. It focuses on the immediate surroundings of Apeldoorn, Epe and Voorst.

IVN Apeldoorn organizes excursions accompanied by trained nature guides, but also various courses for anyone with an interest in nature and who would like to get to know their own environment better. Walking and cycling routes are set out and maintenance work is being carried out in local nature reserves. There are also activities aimed at children/primary students, the elderly and of course for our own members and friends.

We ask

IVN Apeldoorn's school guides working group focuses on an offer of outdoor activities for nature education for primary school students, the guidance of which is in the hands of enthusiastic IVN staff. This supply must match the demand of schools.

We are therefore looking for:

- Enthusiastic volunteers who would like to work with children during school hours.

- Enthusiastic people who want to make plans and perhaps want to perform additional activities, but who are not willing or unable to help during school hours.

You don't necessarily need to know a lot about nature. You learn this in practice and through a number of separately organized training courses. Enthusiasm and being able to deal well with (primary school) students is important.

We offer

Activities within IVN are carried out on a voluntary basis. You become a member of the association and pay a (low) contribution. You are (additionally) insured during the activities carried out by IVN. Expenses incurred will of course be reimbursed. Time use

The time commitment is variable. You can often determine yourself when you perform the work.
