Detailed description
Nature and children: it is a fantastic combination. Yet only one third of the children visit nature every year. IVN has had children with their classmates who experience nature in Het Bewaarde Land for more than 10 years. A place where they get all the space they need to discover, learn and grow the world.
Guardian in The Preserved Land
Do you have experience in guiding children and do you want to share your love for nature with them? Then becoming a volunteer in The Saved Land might be something for you. Guardians In The Preserved Land, the guardians are the volunteers who accompany the children in small groups. In a playful way they familiarize their group with nature. Climbing trees, building huts, eating herbs and berries, getting to know all kinds of plants and animals, playing snip games and singing. We focus on children in groups 5 and 6 of primary education. During three weeks they spend one full day in the middle of nature every week. The Saved Land is carried out at four locations in Brabant, namely in Boxtel, Hilvarenbeek, Udenhout and Rosmalen.
